When I am uploading large sets of photos, I often won't be able to fully identify what is in the photo; the exact species etc.. From the upload thumbnail I am able to tell the photo is of a bear, for example, so the photo gets titled as 'Bear'.
No matter what the subject of the image might be, if any of you are able to provide more information on the subject of my stock; the species of an animal, the background info on a location I photographed etc.. don't be afraid to share it in the comments of the picture!

We went to the Holi Festival (the festival of colours) at the Hare Krishna Temple yesterday!
It is a festival of love, and to welcome back the Spring!

Is anyone else having this problem?
73 of my most recent uploaded stock photos are not showing up in my gallery.  I have cleared cache/cookies, refreshed, and even tried to view it on another computer and it only shows up to #35 of the most recent set. There are 107 in that set uploaded (some can even be seen on my main page).
I uploaded a new photo last night to test, and it wont show in my gallery either.  I contacted the help desk the day before yesterday and haven't heard anything back yet.

I am back from my vacation and took soooo many photos!  Below is a log of what I did, and some photo sneak-peaks ^_^


Trip Day #1

My vacation trip started off looking for the ghost town of Elgin Utah.. did not find. Then on to Sego utah where we found an awesome creepy old abandoned motel that looked like it hadn't been renovated since the 1970's, it was made of awesome. We were able to wander through every room.  In the same town we also found a wall of pelvises ... it was a fence that had about 10 pelvic bones from god knows what wired to it.
From Sego we went to find the ghost town of Cisco utah, this one had a few abandoned houses on private property, an abandoned gas station.. and a car cemetery.  hundreds of cars everywhere!
From there we traveled into Colorado and decided our lives needed to have tuna fish be a part of them.. so we stopped to buy tuna fish sammiches and crashed a wedding by sitting in the parking lot of a winery to have lunch.  Fruita Colorado has noisy dinosaurs and headless chickens!  
Grand Junction Colorado has a beautiful botanical garden with lots of butterflies.  We stayed the night in the stinky egg-smelling town of Glenwood Springs at a Best Western Motel.

-Sleep is for newbs.
-Found lost relics of 70's motel rooms.
-Found the fence of pelvises.
-Dinosaur noises scare kittens.
-Butterflies are after my head, flies are after Sin's.
-Tuna fish is good.

Trip Day #2

We woke up in Grand Junction Colorado and headed for the ghost town of Ashcroft, Colorado. I was dressed in a floor length Victorian mourning gown and was mistaken for a tour guide by a group of ladies there. I should have just started telling them random things about the area, making it up as I went along.
After Ashcroft we went to the ghost town of Independence, Colorado.. I wasn't very impressed by this one, not to mention that I could not breathe! It was so high up in the mountains near the tree line that I had to walk a few feet, then stop and gasp for breath.  From Independence we went to Salida Colorado to a very awesome store called The Bungled Jungle, if you are in that area you have to go! (website plug - [link] ) A new little friend came home with me, he has many eyes and his name is Harold. Upon exiting the store we found 'Tomo' sitting outside in a chair drinking coffee.
We drove on to Cannon City, Colorado where we were attacked by the Space Monkey Mafia when we neared the Rose Cactus Motel. Our next stop was the Museum of Colorado Prisons ... let me say yet again how much I -hate- places that do not allow photography, or flash photography. My flash is not going to make their damn objects poof away into oblivion! The sun's uv rays coming through the window are doing that just fine without my help.  .. I snuck flash on a few things anyway, they can kiss my ass.  From there we drove to Pueblo, Colorado and stayed the night in the Super 8 hotel with the world's hardest beds.

-Rich people have stuck up KFC.
-Was mistaken for a tour guide in a ghost town and at a prison.
-Places that don't allow flash photography are dildos.
-Bought an oogly boogly named Harold from a lesbian. Not dildos.

Trip Day #3

We woke up in Pueblo, Colorado and went to the zoo! While we were there Sin broke an ostrich ... All she did was say hi to it, when it flopped down on the ground and started snapping its beak while moving its head from side to side.  After it did this for about five minutes or more it got up and wandered off. She isn't allowed around ostriches any more.  Our next stop was to be the history of the Colorado Mental Health Institute .... but it was closed that day!  Sin gave them a call and they agreed to meet us there, they opened the building just for us!  It was an amazing tour, they were surprised about how much I knew about mental institutions. They even let me go through some of their old artifacts; patient records, death logs, and ledgers. It was amazing and I was grinning like an idiot.   From Pueblo we drove on to Colorado Springs and went to the Ghost Town Museum where Sin and I looked at pictures of naughty women from the 1920's in little quarter machines. Our next stop was the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo... this zoo is amazing, I was licked by giraffes! I was able to pet a baby albino Joey! and I was eaten by a chipmunk!  From there we went to the May Natural History Museum.. omfg so many bugs!!! After that we tried to find the Ever Green Cemetery, only to discover it had been turned into a park.. little billy is going down the slide to right on top of poor Aunt Bertha!  From there we went out for Chinese Food then stayed the night in the Howard Johnson Motel in Colorado Springs, where we fell over.

-Mental institute people like me.
-Got lost in the ghettos.
-Sin broke an ostrich.
-People with rings not my size are dildos.
-Looked at 25 cent machine pictures of naughty 1920's women.
-Was licked by a giraffe and eaten by a chipmunk.
-If you drive too far out of Colorado Springs you will find Rand McNally and be eaten by hamburgers.
-Rand McNally has lots of pretty bugs.
-mmmmm chinese food.
-Much smaller bed, lots of cuddling. Much softer bed.
-People in the walls banged on them all night.
-Ate cold left over chinese food with fingers.

Trip Day #4

We woke up and started the day by driving uuuuuup into the mountains to the 'so called' Ghost Town of Cripple Creek, Colorado.  This place is -not- a ghost town. It is extremely populated and has many casinos. however it is said to be one of the most haunted areas in the country.. i didnt feel much from it. Maybe all the ghosts were in the casinos gambling at the time.  One of the main reasons I went to this town was to see and photograph a Brothel Museum ... I walked in, turned around, and walked right back out. Apparently photographers are not welcome in their establishment.. people need to include things like this in their damn websites, or stop being so stuck up!  It's not like everyone is clammering to see small little off-beat museums and they can afford to turn people away. *huffs*  We went from there to the Cripple Creek District Museum where they were not stuck up and let me photograph!  While in there I saw a coal/steam engine train go by the window, I had never been on a train before (aside from the little ones at the zoo) so I had to go!  We rode the train and were able to see from a short distance the remains of the ghost town of Anaconda, Co.  We left the train station and went to the Outlaws and Lawmen Jail Museum, but before entering I had to stop and pet some donkeys.  We stopped by Mt. Pisgah Cemetery before leaving and trying to find two other unreachable ghost towns; Victor and Goldfield, then droooove back down the mountain.  On the way down we stopped to see some very odd roadside structures.. strange metal relics of tourist attractions past, resembling Flintstones characters.
We stopped in Littleton Colorado and attempted to find Alfred Packer's grave.. but we think he ran away, or was eaten by another cannibal. We drove on to Denver, Colorado and attempted to stay at a place called the Royal Palace Inn ... this place was so disgusting, horrible, and nasty that I was afraid to touch anything lest I contract some disease. I just knew cockroaches were going to try to climb into my suitcase if I turned my back. I demanded we leave, get a refund, and find a new place.  The owner refused to give us a refund, so Sin told him just what she thought of the place and we left.  Down the street was a Holiday Inn, Sin went in to ask what the rates were.. the man replied '$140 a night, but if you can't afford it don't waste my time.'  To which Sin replied 'We can afford it, but wont bother now.' and left. Screw the stuck up jerk-bag.  We drove around for about 2 1/2 hours looking for a decent place to sleep. We found a La Quinta Inn, praise the gods, and tried to get a room... but they were booked solid and the only rooms available were smoking. I don't smoke and neither does Sin, when I heard this I was so exhausted that I was nearly in tears, I just wanted to go to bed in a clean room that I could breathe in without hacking up a lung.  Sin bribed the desk guy $10 to change a reservation and get us a room. Thank you Sin.

Trip Day #5

We woke up bright and early the next day and went to the Denver Zoo.. oh my gods this zoo is huuuge!  While I was there I flirted with a leopard .. and a fricken peacock stole my hotdog!! ... damn bird! There were two beautiful leopards and a tiger at this zoo that I loved.. I had to stick around to flirt with the leopard, I got some amazing photos of them! The tiger wanted pets, he kept headbutting/nudging the glass near where we were. When we finished touring the zoo and our feet were ready to fall off we went back to the motel room so I could unload my camera, then onto the Denver Museum of Nature and Science we went!  We were only in there for about 30 minutes when they announced it was closing >.<  So we asked if we could get tickets to come back the next day, and were successful without issue!  From there we went to the Denver Aquarium/Restaurant... the views of the fish in this place were amazing! many of the tanks left me in awe.  That is also where i met my new boyfriend, a Red Drum Fish named Bob.  We had dinner in front of a huge wall of aquarium filled with enormous fish.. that is where I met Bob *nods* He flirted with me all night. I got to feed and pet sting rays!! I also flung lobster at Sin.  After eating way too much we waddled back to the hotel room and passed out.

-Actually slept, nice beds.
-huuuuuuge zoo, flirted with a leopard.
-Fricken peacock stole my hotdog!

-Science kicked us out, going back tomorrow.

Trip Day #6

We woke up early early and went off to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I was able to do experiments in the human science area! I extracted DNA, played with my cells and Sin's, and played with bacteria!  We were also able to see two real mummies, which was very awesome.  After wandering around the huge science museum we went to look at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, it was gorgeous.
From there we attempted to go to the Denver Museum of Dolls and Toys .. the lady watched me walk in with a huge camera strapped around my neck, took our admission fee, watched me prepare to take a photo, and then said 'no photos are allowed in the museum!' ... So I demanded my money back and we left!  From there we went to the Denver Botanical Gardens... huge.. hot, lots of pretty flowers though. It was also infested with dinosaurs. After we left there we attempted to go to the Lakeside Amusement Park, a very old park I have wanted to see for a long time ... but it was closed.. wtf??!  After there we drove around in circles until we found Fairmount Cemetery, they had some beautiful statues there.

Trip Day #7

This day was fulllll of cemeteries! I was sooooo sore, and very sun burned. Thats what I get for not going into the sun hardly all summer long.  Before hunting up dead people we went to Sakura Square and I bought mochi! and some wasabi peas to take home to Tomo.  
We visited Mount Olivit Cemetery, Riverside Cemetery, Golden Cemetery.. Crow hill Cemetery was apparently turned into houses (omfg poltergeist batman!) so.. be warned if you live any where near 8500 E 29th Ave in Denver, chances are your house is planted on top of dead people.  We drove on to Layfayette, Colorado to visit a vampire's grave under the name of Mr. Glava .... but .. that cemetery has been turned into houses as well.  Poor Mr. Glava, hopefully this means he has better access to a feeding supply now.  We drove on to Boulder Colorado where we stayed the night at the Best Wester Golden Buff Lodge.

-Four cemeteries gone so far, turned into houses, buildings or parks.
-People in denver drive like retards trying to hump a door knob.

Trip Day #8

The motel in Boulder had a wonderful free breakfast. After eating we drove on to Estes Park Colorado to the Baldpate Inn to see their key collection.. omg.. sooo many keys. hundreds and hundreds, I was in heaven. I plan to send them a key in the future to add to their collection.  From there we went to The Stanley 'Shining' hotel. Such a beautiful place, it was in the inspiration for the book/movie The Shining, Stephen King wrote the book in room 217.  After that stop we drove to Loveland Colorado to see the Benson Sculpture Garden.. its huuugge!  and was very hot outside. After that we drove on to Fort Collins, Colorado to see the Sweetsville Zoo Sculpture Garden. If you are ever in the area you have to go here! and give a donation to this artist. He allows people to tour through his land and creations for free, and this is one of the most creative places I have ever been. It was a joy.  While driving around Fort Collins (which Sin renamed to Phil Collins) It was apparently freaks on bikes day .. sooo many freaks on bikes.  We also ran into Dr. Cyrus riding a bike with a two legged taco and a masked girl. We crossed the boarder into Cheyenne Wyoming and got a room at a La Quinta there.

-Very yummy continental breakfast before starting out the day.
-omfg keys, keys and more keys! I loved them. I loved them real good!
-Looked for Jack Nicholson in The 'Shining' Stanley hotel. Did not find.
-Sooo many sculptures in the sun!
-I want a spider vw bug!
-Sin decided Fort Collins Colorado is now called Phil Collins.
-It was freaks on bikes day in Phil Collins.
-Found Dr. Cyrus on a bit with a two legged taco and a masked girl.
-Poor smuggled mini mufflin, squashed by a suitcase. We shall miss thee.

Trip Day #9

Many of the things I wanted to see and do today were closed due to it being Sunday.. especially a huge victorian mansion The Irvinson Mansion which I have pre-approval to photograph.. I had to skip by. *le sob*  We drove on to Laramie, Wyoming to see the Wyoming Territorial Prison, an older place and pretty cool to look around.  We sort of found the ghost town area of Fort Fred Steele. From there we went to Rawlins Wyoming to the Wyoming Frontier Prison.. i tried to see this one on my last trip but it was closed, I was able to get in this time! Awesome and semi-dark tour, the tour guide did not spare the gruesome details, which made me happy. I was able to sit in the gas chamber.. when I climbed out of it something started banging on the walls, and this strange dizzy feeling came over me. It only lasted for a few minutes. But I did feel a lot of activity in this place, more-so than the other so called 'haunted' locations I visited. After this we drove and drove and drove and finally made it home! Where I was hugged by Tomo and eaten by cats!

-It really sux when nothing is open on Sunday!
-Beautiful victorian mansion was not open.... *whine!*

I am running away again!
Early morning on August 29th I am taking off for another road trip, and I wont be back until Sept 7th.
I am heading in the direction of Colorado and will go through part of Wyoming as well!

You have my permission to use my stock in pictures for DA Prints, you do not need to ask me about.

I ask this because I may not see it.  I love receiving comments, but I want remarks made on the photo's pages/main page to be for comments on the photos, questions, remarks etc.. not flooded with links.
To send a note view my main page and click the yellow 'note' button, then copy and paste the web address to your picture into the note, and hit send.

If you need to contact me and the issue is time sensitive please send me a note and title it 'Read Me First'.  
Do not title the note this if you are simply informing me of a completed piece.

On a normal basis I check my notes from oldest to newest. Please be patient, I receive many notes a day. I -will- get to yours in due time, but please understand that I do have a life of my own, a job, and a family. This is a hobby and I love providing fun stock for the art community, but do not get upset if it takes me a while to respond. I am not doing it purposely to ignore you.

There are no restrictions on the sort of art you are allowed to create with my stock, with respect in mind. Art is an expression of self and I want it to remain that way. But, out of respect for my models and myself as a photographer, you may not create art with my stock that depicts hate toward any person, group, race, country, or religion.
The stock of children may not be used in art of an erotic or sexual nature.
Horror art is definitely ok (even with the children stock). My models enjoy seeing themselves turned into zombies and decapitated ^_~

When using my stock please be creative. Do not simply add a colour filter and a texture and call it good.
