Bannack Ghost Town 288

Oooh so much hail, and a very freezing Falln running about.
I keep telling people those outside shots are not orbs (as in ghosts) because it was hailing in this shot .. I am however curious to know why it looks like the blotches are trailing upward.

This photo was taken in the ghost town of Bannack, Montana.

First it was cold and windy. then it was cold, windy and rainy. then it was cold, windy, raining and snowing. ... then it was cold, windy and hailing.
